Re: Erm, just working in a SHOP [Artzy's Arts]

I'd like a slot! :D I'm thinking up an Aasimar (half human, half celestial) Cleric (from D&D). She'd be a grave domain Cleric, meaning she'd take it upon herself to help the transition from life to death. She hates necromancy and those trying to cheat death in any way other than the normal healing/r...

Re: MDE Bosnia & Herzegovina

I totally see the architecture inspiration in the top of her dress, but not so much in the skirt. You could let the top part shine though, allowing the skirt to just flow. Currently the flow of the skirt is shaded in a really lovely way, but the sides of it are really straight and stiff, which doesn...

I'm a dork and totally forgot to post my round 1 for MDE, and since I just submitted my round 2, I figured I would do them both at the same time! http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn244/caitlincaitiecait/MDE-16_zpso3h8vwb3.png Round 1 - Full body base is Asoya by Zappy/Parker! Will this count? Since the mustache isn't on the DOLL herself, I wasn't sure.

I personally like 1 and 3 the best too. I just wanted to pop in and say she's looking great! Maybe playing with your text will make it apparent which composition works the best :)

Re: Detective Gunmetal; I'm tooling! B)

Love this so far! I agree with Debb though, the theme could be pumped up a bit in the clothing. I'd hate to see you lose points over it!

Sketch looks really good so far, but be careful on the hat size in the portrait, it looks a little too small right now.

Re: Princess Bubble Gum in the Rehearsals Thread

Maybe she could have a bracelet or something made out of gumballs. Or maybe a necklace pendant with one of those swirly lollipops you find at carnivals and such. ( https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/a1/5a/74/a15a7490d4b74cf5cee946638ae2c892.jpg ) Maybe a modernized 17-18th century hairstyle? ...

@Nuni: Thanks! You're too sweet <3 @Pyro: You flatter me! @Lily: The color is just so fun, I had to go with it! You'll do great, I know it :D @Batty: Oh! I will go back and double check. I think that (as Debb already said) it's optional on the full body. @Debb: Thank you! Yeah, after reading what yo...

Re: Princess Bubble Gum in the Rehearsals Thread

First - Love the idea of a candy theme! That's so fun, and perfect for the name and inspiration you chose. I like the ideas happening with the dress, but her skirt looks a bit less full than you have in your inspiration - dunno if that is intentional or not, but thought I would point it out. Also, t...

A mystery in merlot

I kinda finished this a lot sooner than I thought I would. Well, I say "finished", but I'm going to sit on it for a bit to make sure I don't want to change anything before turning it in. Re: TPP - spyders versions

They look really good so far! I especially like the color palettes you have going on, but I think the shape of the hem might be what is causing you issues. For Katsumi: Her skirt looks to be a sort of A-line, or possibly circle skirt. If you look at photos of skirts like that ( http://www.allensbrid...

Ophelia

So, months ago I started working on this doll of Ophelia from Shakespeare's Hamlet. I had just listened to the audio book and was hooked. Anyway, this stayed in my endless wip folder for ages, but I finally decided to revisit it. I didn't think I would actually ever finish it (as with most things in...
