Base.
I like all the palettes except for the black-to-blue one. I like all the shades, but the highlights are killing me. Their either turn too dark or too bright. I can't seem to find a happy medium. :?
Help please, if you can.

I would try some more hue shifting in the blue. Maybe switch it over to the reds just a bit in the highlights, to correspond with the red in the stockings?
And I like your colours for the red. :)

i like shiny

i'm sorry i can't help more, the only palettes i know are libby's and she doesn't have gradients
i remember someone did had gradients, though...

@vivisect: You think so? Well, I still am pretty bothered by it.
And, I don't like using others palettes, anymore, unless its for a contest.
@Sissors: I could, but the theme is supposed to be red, black, and white since its inspired by a music video, only using those colors, so I don't know. :?

Well it would still be blue, but just with a small tint to it to give it more dimension.

I would say your palette is going too far into royal blue, making it look a little garish. If you added one more shade to the palette,a blue/grey tone.
YOu would be able to use this for your highlight, and it would make the skirt less saturated in colour, without losing the blue.

I did a quick reline just to show how the new tone could work.

.
The blue still looks very similar, but richer. ( also bubbled out the skirt a bit more, at the moment the folds youve done work against the outline, as the dont follow the curve of thee matirial, but by curving them in at the base will make it look better for you.
