I got married on September 16, 2018 to my wonderful hubby.
My father got to walk me down the aisle, which was something I was always worried would never happen because of his emphysema. He's gone very downhill since then and doesn't have long left. Even though he'll never meet my children, at least he got to give his baby girl away to the man who humbly asked his permission. Less than 50 people at my uncle's house on the water, and we all brought food for the reception, but it was special.
Dad and I were crying throughout the whole father/daughter dance, but that's okay. It was our moment of understanding.
Then of course hubby and I busted a move to Do You Love Me, we had some speeches, garter throw and bouquet toss (which ended up hilarious), mom/bestguyfriend/I dancing to dancing queen (he being the dancing queen), more photos down on the water. Everyone but us managed to find time to eat, and I'm pretty sure I drank an entire bottle of champagne. My bridesmaids kept bringing me fresh glasses!
