Here's the last cycle in case you're not familiar with it... http://mmp2012.webs.com/
I've got the basic ideas for the rounds figured out, but I've still got to poop out some example dolls, and throw together a website layout. At least it's finally happening though.
I would like to go ahead and get a jump start on lining up some judges!
If anyone is interested, PM me with the following:
Code: Select all
Name: Website: Pixel and/or Tool: Judging experience:
I'd like some help figuring out the final details of the rounds before I start in on the examples, so there will probably be an online get together where we can all throw ideas around once all the judges have been picked. Other than that, all I ask is that you create a judge doll for the judges page, and are available to actually judge when the rounds end. This time around, instead of 5 judges, I'm just asking for 3. It's all going to be laid back this year, nothing too involved.
I don't really want to put a deadline on this... but realistically, I'm thinking I can get it all put together and polished by mid-August. (I'll be moving in a few weeks and there's craziness at work ) but I'm determined to get this open, so once the judges are picked and we finalize all the details, it shouldn't take long after that to get it up and running! Yay!
For potential judges: rounds will probably be a month long, with a week (7 days) from the deadline, for you to get your scores turned in. Also, we're forgoing feedback this year, because it was so time consuming. If anyone wants any other information, just let me know!
