What I learned from working part-time at a thrift store:
-People don't look more than three seconds for a dressing room rack. If there's any question, they just dump the clothes wherever, next to a pile of hangers.
-You can quickly tell the difference between people who regularly shop at thrift stores and those who don't. The ones who don't are usually happier with prices... and unhappy with everything else.
-A small gesture of help from a customer, whether needed or not, is enough to brighten anyone's day
-Not all customers are evil. Many will remember your name, hopes, dreams, and family better than your friends.
-The memory of space available in your closet becomes skewed when you're looking at a really nice pair of dark jeans in your size.

What I've Learned from Playlist Making:
1) my playlists turn out to be eclectic no matter what
2) I have legitimately no idea how people have made playlists that flow so smoothly
3) no matter how much time I spend on it I don't actually end up listening to it when I write for NaNo
4) .... or any time otherwise
5) I have found some really awesome music from soundcloud while making them
6) cover art for the playlist is fun to make
7) 99% of the time when I am playlist making I should be doing something else

What's I've learned from being a stay at home Mom:
1.The multi-tasking is the most crucial skill I'll ever have
2. There is no such thing as having me time... because being a mom is a 24/7 job
3. That my house is a circus and I'm not the Ring Leader...lol!!!
4. My life wouldn't be the same without my kiddos
5. I wish straight jackets came in kids sizes and I could buy them at Walmart
6. Being a stay at home mom is the hardest thing I've ever had to do.
7. There is no such thing as privacy in our house.. my kiddos think everywhere I go they must be front in center.
8. My children turn me into a screaming lunatic at least 100 times a day
9. I live in a ocean of toys
10. Being a stay at home mom has taught me that I can concur almost anything

What I've learned from Zelda: Breath of the Wild
1. Everyone wants a piece of Link
2. Collect everything, even apples (especially apples)
3. Boss battles are hard but Lionel will kill you faster
4. Anyone stopped on the side of the road wants to kill you
5. Almost all armors are unflattering, such is life
6. Seeing as the country has survived for 100 years without a king, queen or really government of any kind, there is literally no need for a monarchy. Sorry Zelda.

Since I'll (probably) be graduating soon, here's:

What I learned from four years of studying Art & Design
1. Art teachers will forget everything and it's your responsibility to remind them
2. English teachers are THE WORST at English (except for Joanne)
3. Super glue will actually glue your fingers together
4. It will hurt to separate said fingers
5. InDesign and Illustrator are life and you will not be able to live without them anymore
7. Do your research before choosing a school. There are bad schools. You do not want to be in one, because they will fuck you over and there's nothing you can do.
8. Music students are the worst (it's not like High School Musical or Glee)

What I've learned from working at a Halloween-themed amusement park-

1) Costumed monster = instant celebrity status at an amusement park.
2) Pop-up walls are not meant to support adult weight being thrown at them.
3) If someone gets sick, everyone will catch it. Just a matter of time.
4) Fog machines are NOT good for your health in large amounts.
5) Scared people take swings. Jumping out at people increases that risk.
6) Denny's food tastes AMAZING at 3am.
7) There's always at least ONE sober person at all the parties, and they're recording everyone else.
8) It is entirely possible to survive a full month on nothing but berry punch and giant pixy stix.

What I've learned cutting foods out of my diet:

1. It sucks.
2. It really, really sucks.
3. There is gluten and/or dairy in almost all processed food.
4. If it's not that it's nuts or peanuts.
5. Coconuts are not a nut, they are a fruit!
6. People with allergies have a hard time in a lot of situations. :(
7. A lot of people don't take gluten allergies/celiac disease seriously because of the gluten-free "health craze"
8. Gluten isn't bad for you. -_- Unless you're sensitive to it, omg.
9. The majority of the US population doesn't even think about allergies, including most companies.
10. Companies will charge tons more for anything that's "allergen free" because they can. e_e
11. GLUTEN IS IN EVERYTHING; including most cosmetics, shampoo/conditioner, almost anything with vit e added, and even if it's a little bit, if you have celiac disease, even cross-contamination can f--- you over ;_;
11b. Yes, this includes if someone touched your food without washing their hands or merely took the croutons off your salad after they mistakenly added them or fried your food in the same frier as gluten things...
12. A lot of gluten-free things have almond flour in them and it sucks when you can't have either. xD
13. There is 100% no replacement for cheese. ~_~~~;;
14. Like seriously, I miss cheese. ;__;
15. I can't think of an appropriate 15th thing; I just really didn't want to leave it on 14.
