Haha, so there's this actor's challenge that asked us to make something with a glow effect...in the past I have been known for my fantasy dolls, so I returned to my roots. It was a nice stretch!

Wow... she is fantastic. The shading is wonderful and I love how to did the glow effect around her face and hair. She is just lovely.

There's a digital painter in our midst... and if not, I'm really surprised. You've got a lot of skill in both the technical aspects and in composition, not to mention you're not tied down by a base. I'm just blown away by this doll.

Melian - thanks a lot! Yes, I am a digital painter. And a traditional painter (that's what my training is mostly in). I have very recently returned to dolling since I got my tablet (the first nice one I've owned) and so I'm still a bit rusty I'm afraid xD But it's fun to feel strength returning to my fingers and remember how I used to do things!
